I can't use my mobile phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
This troubleshooting guide will take you through a number of possible causes
to help you find a solution to your problem.
Set up your mobile phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot.
1. Slide two fingers down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.Tap SETTINGS.
2. Tap More.
3. Tap Mobile network sharing.
4. Tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot.
5. Key in the required name for the Wi-Fi Hotspot.Tap the menu icon.
6. Tap Advanced.
7. Tap SECURITY.
8. If you don't want to password protect your Wi-Fi Hotspot:Tap None.
9. Tap the return icon.
10. If you want to password protect your Wi-Fi Hotspot:Tap WPA2 (AES).
11. Tap the return icon.
12. Tap the field below "PASSWORD (8-63 ASCII CHARACTERS)" and key in the required password.
13. Tap the indicator next to "Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot" until the function is turned on.
14. Tap OK.

15. Do the following on the device which is to connect to your Wi-Fi Hotspot:Turn on Wi-Fi.Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.Select the network name you keyed in in step 2.Key in the password you selected in step 2 and establish a connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
16. Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.
Possible cause 2:
Your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
Solution:
Set up your mobile phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Tap SETTINGS.
Tap the menu icon.
Tap None.
Tap WPA2 (AES).
Turn on Wi-Fi.
Find the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Select the network name you keyed in in step 2.
Key in the password you selected in step 2 and establish a connection to the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
When the connection is established, you can access the internet from the other device.
